Welcome to Kevflix!  This is a website that is dedicated to movies.  It will include movie reviews, ranking lists, Oscar predictions, things like that.

I like to think of myself as the best of both worlds when it comes to movie opinions.  I have a critical eye for the medium, with an extensive knowledge of film history and understanding the production piece, as well.  My motto when it comes to reviewing movies is, “I see bad movies so you don’t have to.”

However, I am a fan first and that will never go away.

Movies are 100% subjective and that is one thing I love the most about them.  Nobody is ever wrong in their opinion of a movie.  I love debating movies and hearing other people’s opinions about movies I may or may not agree with them on.

I rate my movies on the traditional FOUR STAR rating.  Here’s a breakdown of each star rating:

 

 – MASTERPIECE

– EXCELLENT

 – GOOD

 – PRETTY GOOD

– OK

– NOT VERY GOOD

– BAD

– TRASH

   – DUMPSTER FIRE
